A question for Jan 03 filers

Hi - I am a Jan/03 filer. Is there anyone with this RD and received either RFE or FP2. My case is not moving and the online message at www.uscis.gov is the exact same thing from Day 1 - your I-485 was receiving on 1/6/03 and it is taking 570 - 600 days...blah, blah, blah...

It seems to be too early for 1/03 filer. USCIS is currently working on 11/02 latest. It could be 3 or more months before any 1/03 filer receive RFE. FP1 expired in June 04 and you might receive FP2 pretty soon.
 
Japanese, am in the same boat. nothing changed for me or my wife and son since day 1 except for a change in LUD on 6/15/2004. Since then, cases have been approved around us, but not 1/03. dunno what's up with that.

Hi,
I'm a Jan 10, 2003 filer. LUD 7/25/03 dunno why it changed (EAD/AP approval dates are 2 months away)

I have a colleage with Dec 20, 2002 ND, he got FP2 and already done with it, his LUD changed yesterday with FP received message.

Please post in this thread if anyone sees any activity.

Japanese and Kjkool,

am hoping everyday, especially since my attorney told me she is starting to see more approvals lately. She did say these are 4-9/02 approvals, but at the same time, more activity with 10/02-and-on cases (FP2, RFE, transfer to local office, etc). Everyday, I open my mailbox with hopes...and checking my email with hopes.....that's all what's left. I hope we all get approved soon!!!!

I think it about time for us (For 2nd FP I mean!!
They are approving Nov 2002 and Feb 2003 Cases according to immigrationwatch.com
And I know two persons from work with Dec02 ND who got 2nd FP notices. We should be getting FP notices anytime now. And then Approval is 2-3 months after that I guess if the latest trend of no RFE continues...

I-485 ND - Jan 16, 2003

I-140 RD - Jan 08, 2003
I-140 AD - Apr 15, 2003

FP - Sep 04, 2003

I-765 (1) AD - May 02, 2003
I-765 (2) AD - Feb 14, 2004

Guys, I applied for advance parole in the first week of July, hopefully, when they look at the application, they look at the I-485 application too :cool: .

My story is similar:
RD/ND: Late Jan 2003
FP 1: Mar 2003
Currently on EAD2/AP2
Status never changed since day 1
No FP2/RFE yet.

Hoping to get RFE/FP2 in next 2-3 months.

Your FP (Sep 04, 2003) are still valid, so you might not get a FP2 notice if you get approved before Dec.
 
but if we check the dates given by our friends above ... it looks like it is 18 months though.... and also My FP was done apr 22 2003 which means my FP expired??? i have not seeen any sec FP till now.. do i have to do something for this.

Jackmike - if you've done your FP on 4/22/03, it has expired on 7/22/04. You don't have to do anything about it. USCIS will send you a notice to go to your nearest ASC for your second fingerprinting. Your friends above, including myself, are all waiting for our 2nd FP notice to arrive (and hopefully approval).

Please post any updates you might have.

I had applied for advance parole for my wife and myself, online on Jan 28th 2004. The online receipt said, we would recieve an official receipt notice within 7-10 business days, we haven't recieved it until today, I called USCIS after 30 days passed and checked with them about the receipt notice. I was told they will inquire into that, I was also asked if I have my I-485 was pending, and the lady told me to wait for another 30 days before calling them again.

I'll wait and call back later.
