I'm driving into Mexico for a wedding for one day on April 5th, talked to the US border custom officer via phone, she said all I need to get back into the US is my "Green Card".
OK, here's the kicker and need your experiences. I have my Naturalization Interview on April 1st (4 days before I drive into Mexico)! To my understanding is that once you're interviewed and if you're approved, doesn't the Immigration Officer keep your "Green Card"?
if my Oath Ceremony is not on the same day, What documents will I have in my possession to show the US border custom officers when I cross the border?! Please enlighten me!
