a question about TN Renewal

My TN will be expired on Jan 23,2009. My company has prepared a support letter for me to renew TN at POE today. My question is should I wait until Jan 23? or Can I renew it on someday in Dec, 2008? Thank you!!!
 
It is unlikely that a POE will allow you to renew this early.

I would not make a special trip to renew now, but if you are returning from abroad sometimne between now and mid-january, I would certainly try to get the new TN.

There is no harm in trying, just as part of a regular re-entry.
 
How early can one go to the POE to get renewal done ? Is there any timeframe like maybe 4 weeks before ??

Obviousdly, if you are going to try to get a TN, you'll need a letter.

So, you need a letter before you try, regardless if its next week or in january.

It costs them 10 cents to give you a letter.
