Hi gurus,
since there is no any hope for me to get approved for my I485 in the near future, i'm thinking to renew my EAD. I filed my I485 in Dec. 2002 but it looks like i was assigned to a group with bad luck. I've seen a lot of guys whose ND/RD are around Nov. 2003 even early 2004 got approved. But my case is still sleeping in some lazy officers' drawers. My EAD will be expired on January 15, 2005. I'm planning to renew my EAD late this November. I recently heard from a friend who told me as long as I got the receit of my EAD renewal, I can work even though my old EAD expired (even if I didn't get approval for my new EAD). Is this true? Or do I have to get my EAD approval before the expiration date in order to work legally with my new EAD. Pls give some advices to me and great thanks to u guys in advance.
