I have applied for I-140 at Vermont and I would like to track it. I see quite a few things like AD, RD which I don\'t understand. I would appreciate if someone explains what they are and how I can track my I-140. Also, I would like to know how long does the process usually take to obtaining the EAD. Any suggestions welcome.

RD is the Recieve Date ie when the INS received it in mail.
ND is the Notice Date ie when the INS entered your info into its system.
AD is the Approval date.
RFE is Request for Evidence.
and the Number to call after you have an EAC Number is 802 527 4913
Your Attorney should receive a letter from the INS which has the EAC Number

Finally the AVM at VSC has been updated. It says the reply was received on 2/21/02 and will take about 150-240 days for approval. Details:
