A# on the check

I was just trying to figure out which might be the correct EAC (ESC?) number shown on the cashed check.

The front of the check shows a number beginning with ESC, but it only has 7 digits while the back is printed with two other possible numbers, but both of these are just 10 digits each. However, one of the ten digit numbers is similar to the ESC number on the front of the check.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

The number that's written on the front of the check is the correct number. insert *00 between ESC and the 7 digits, and you'll get a 13 character receipt number.

Yes! I just found my case status updated on line :D. No NOA received yet, but things are progressing behind the scenes.

Thanks again Vorpal for your help.

Just a friendly point - do not count on the online case status as it is not updated for the N-400 application process - as it is for other types of applications. Therefore, you will not get a notice when the FP notice or IL are sent out. Even the LUD (last update date) will cease changing as soon as you get your FP notice. There folks on here that have their case showing as pending months after becoming citizens.
