A-number question

Hello,

I'm going to renew my EAD. I found the A-numbers on my current EAD and I-485 are a little bit different, that is, A# on EAD is 097 ### ###, while A# on I-485 receipt is A97 ### ###. The only difference between those two is in the first letter, i.e. A vs 0.

My question is which one I should use in my new EAD form or they are just basically same.

Hi Mohoning,

The A number should have "A#" followed by 9 digits so your number should read:

"A# 097 --- ---"
