a new lawsuit

Just heard from my attorney that a new lawsuit has been filed to force government to backdate GC as the date of asylum approval, based on "inequality compared with refugee adjustment".

Will provide more info when I am less busy. :)

Any update info for this? It will give us a hope even its chance is very limited. We should contribute our effects for it.

I am repeating my question to you

windywd,

I am repeating my question to you:

what court this has been filed to? which law firm has filed this case?

sam,

I don't know. It is filed in Texas. My attorney told me it will not affect me since the case takes at least 4 years. I tried once and he was not in office. I have not called him since.

Hi windy,

There is a threat people are thinking a lawsuit is the way to force uscis to treat asylee as refugee in term of citizenship application.

Did you hear anything from your attorney again on the potential lawsuit?

Thanks
