a naive question

i have not been following the 485 issues for long (prob. since the retrogression?)

anyways, i happened to check the Service center progressing date page at https://egov.immigration.gov/cris/jsps/Processtimes.jsp?SeviceCenter=Vermont and noticed that the 485 date had moved to 12/16/04.

so here goes my naive question: does the date 12/16/04 has any meaning now? should I totally ignore it? i ask because my filing date of I-485 is a couple of days around that date. should I be hopeful?

i also checked the case status search there, and found a LUD on 11/17/2005, which is a surprise to me. does this mean anything?

my i-140 was approved in jan 2005 and did finger print in mar 2005.

thanks all.

If your priority date is current, then the date has meaning. If not... no.

Thank you, but where can I find the "current" priority date?
Also, did you mean that my case is about to be approved only when:
(1) the priority date is current; AND
(2) the filing date of 485 is around 12/16/2005.

Thanks again!
