Contacted MN Senator Dayton’s office on 11/18/03. BCIS issued 2nd FP notice on 12/xx/2003 after Senator’s office contacted them.

On 1/14/2004, received an email from Senator’s office that as of 1/8/2004 our cases were with an officer.

This forum was a great help through this painful process!!!! Great work!!!

Gap in RD & ND

NSC_485_OCT2301 -

Congratulations on your recent approval. There seems to be a considerable gap between your RD & ND. Did the Notice of Action take a long time in getting to you? Please clarify.

Thanks!

Japanese: It was taking one month for INS to issue receipts in Oct 2001...For Aug/Sep-2001 RD cases it was taking even over month...

Thank you all!!! Wish you all the best with your approval!!!

Question for NSC_485_Oct23_01

Hi NSC_485_Oct23_01,

Congrats on your newfound status

Did you get in touch with the senator as a private individual or as an employee of the company? Am asking as what if company does not want to write on my behalf to senator / congressman for 2nd FP on my behalf.

Thanks

Murali

When you contacted senator's office, what did you tell them?. INS is telling that the current processing time is 26 months. Should some body until the end of the 26th month period and contact senator?. what do u suggest
