A little help, please

Hello everyone! I had quite a few of my questions answered when I looked through this forum, but I still can find the answer to my biggest problem. My father obtained the green card through the diversity lottery visa. That happened 7 years ago. At that time he was living in Canada. After he won the lottery he went to US with my step-mother and my brother. I didn't want to go at that time. But now I have changed my mind. I am 27 years old now. Do you think there is any possibility that I could get my green card now( he did put my name in the application, at the time)? Or is it too late? They all have applied now for citizenship, and I don't think it will be too long before they'll get it!
Or would it be better for my dad to apply for me using the I 130 form ( but I know that'll take a long time)? If someone has any advice for me please let me know as soon as possible!
Thank you very much for your time and hope to hear from you soon!

It's too late for that...

Then your dad needs to file I-130 as soon as he becomes citizen. According to current visa bulletin your wait would be 6+ years if you're unmarried, 8+ years - if married: http://www.travel.state.gov/visa/frvi/bulletin/bulletin_3169.html.

He can file I-130 now, if you're unmarried, then upgrade it when he becomes citizen. It's up to him.

it is better to file now, if you are not planning to get married until after he becomes a citizen

Wow! 6+ years it's a long time to wait! i didn't think it'll be that bad! thank you Anahit and LucyMo for the quick answers!
