I think you're most likely to find the help you need on a site like this than with an immigration lawyer in Albania. Heck, most US immigration lawyers do not even have a clear understanding of the DV process itself.

Birth certificate must have all names used. how can i have a birth certificate whit the name of my husband because when we married i have change the last name.in Romania they give only one birth certificate and one marriage certificate for ever .last year i was in Romania and i have taken one of each but the embassy in Albania say that All documents should bear issuance date less than one year ago from interview date. Otherwise, your case will be refused until we receive updated documents.in June they will make one year old and if we have the interview in september i need other the problem is that i dont know if i can get others

Well regarding the birth certificate, you need to stop worrying yourself. There's absolutely no way a person's birth certificate can contain the spouse's name, not unless the baby was married off before she got named, right? So no embassy will expect to see a spouse's name on the birth certificate.

Regarding the rest of your questions, I'm sorry I don't quite understand, so I'm unable to make additional input for now.

Hello, ceskhermina. I can say that you can find a lawyer in Tirana, rruga e durresit behind the Ministry of Education. Her name is Raimonda (if I remember well). She is good in processing DV lottery. Thats all I can say even because I don't trust to any lawyer in this process. Good luck.

I read the 1 year instruction on the Tirana embassy website. The concept of getting an "updated" birth certificate seems silly to me. That might be possible in some countries but for instance I know that whilst a British person could request a replacement birth certificate, it would not show any updates to take into account a marriage or name change. I would imagine that strategy is more usual than the concept of that document being updated. If you are facing a similar situation, I would personally try and contact the embassy to discuss it. Failing that I would present the foreign document and explain that it cannot be refreshed - and that in the issuing country it is never considered expired.

she is not a lawyer but just a translator who feels the dv forms. so i share the opinion of the other members: you don't need a lawyer since you get more help and information in here.
about the birth certificate: I had similar problems since I have had name changing about 10 years ago (i used my step fathers name and last name for some years). I wrote and noticed to the embassy that as per Albanian law, is not possible to get a birth certificate with all the names used in precedent but only with the current name. and they answer to produce the birth certificate as the competent office can issued it.
about the marriage: i think you have register your marriage in Albania (right???), so you can present an Albanian marriage certificate. it costs 50 ALL and can be used as many times as required.
and in the end, if in Romania is not possible to get issued more than once a birth certificate, I think all you can do is to find and translate the paragraph of the Romanian law stating that and present it the day of the interview.

thanks Usag yes the marriage is register here because we make the marriage here .i was thinking that i will wait till the next visa bulletin and i next i will go in Romania and make all the possible to have another birth certificate but if is not possible i will contact the embassy of USA in Romania maybe they can help me
