A letter to request FP

Hi.
I am planning to send a letter to USCIS for requesting FP. I applied my 485 in May 2002. Still i didnt received any FP notice.

Is it a good plan to send a letter and ask them to schedule FP. I found the following Address in Web site to General Correspondence. If any one know other then this address please let me know. And also any one know direct phone #. Please post here.

Once a whole bunch of people (some of them getting their approvals) called legacy INS using the 1800 number and were granted FP appointment requests.
Nowadays calling the 800 number has become mostly ineffective. No harm in sending the letter.
There might be address to send additional info. related to your case in the receipt notice. I would suggest to send it to that address rather than a generic one.
