A letter from CSC for name change HOLD cases

Hello Friends,
             I have attached a letter that was received by one of my friend\'s friend whose case is also on HOLD due to company name change. His case is pending with CSC, not with VSC. This letter was issued on Mar 01, 2001. CSC seems to be handling in a very humane way when compared to VSC.CSC is giving a clear option to go in either way. Why VSC is not doing it? God Bless VSC.
      I thought of sharing this with you if you have not seen this letter from CSC. Though this letter may not be of any use to us, but still it gives us a little comfort that filing I-140 helps in removing the HOLD on our cases. Again I am not sure how VSC will act on the I-140 redo.

Does "CHANGE (SUCCESSORSHIP) OF OWNERSHIP" also pertain to "Change of Name" (though same ownership)?

Hi,
Does this mean that CSC is also keeping the 485 cases on hold for the folks who switched jobs after 180+ days of their 485 filing? I know that CSC is processing cases within 180 days but I was wondering if that would be their intention in the event they take more than 180 days to process the 485 cases?
Any ideas/opinions?
