I-140 approved for CP but applied for AOS anyway.
Case was with officer for last 3 months. It was in working area
for last 3 weeks. Lawyer was told 3 weeks back
that I would hear something in about 6 weeks. No RFE.

Approved for both me and wife.

A 15 year jouney ends. I came on J1.. changed to H1..
was denied H1 visa stamp because officer told me that
I was still subject to 2 year HRR
but never believed him as INS alreday changed my status
to H1 with new I-94 (same no as old I-94 that showed J1 )
attached at the bottom of H1 approval showing H1 status.
Has been in H1 for last 4 years. This is my first
and last H1 in USA.

I am really very much proud for you.
I have a question : I heard from this site, if you call IIO many times, the approval will be delayed. Did u call IIO before ? If so how many times ?

I called IIO 4-5 times sofar. I decided not to call henceforth. When I called on Aug\'01 the IIO said, my case was in a working area. I called last on 28th Sept the response was, the case was "Pending". Not able to guess anthing.
