Friends,

I am about to put my documents all together for N-400. Today, the 20th, I am eligible to apply based on marriage to USC (still happily married :)). I am hoping to mail the application tomorrow. My questions:

(1) Do I have to write down A# in all supporting documents, i.e copies of my wife's birth certicificate, Passport, my son's birth certicificate, etc.?
(2) My IRS Transcripts for last 3 yesrs (2005-2007), should I attach original or copies?
(3) Do I need to staple them all together before I seal the envelope?

I appreciate your responses and suggestions. Thanks in advance.

Thanks GhantaBro...it answers my Q#3 but not 1 and 2. In the mean time, I've Q#4.

(4) I have obtained my Traffic Citation Transcripts from my state that shows the dates and stuff ( no tickets in last 6 years, no DUIs, no fine over $200). I did take defensive driving course twice but I dont have certificates neither I have the receipts of all the citations from past. Should I put an effort to try to obtain them or just mail the copy of official transcript issued by the State? Thanks for the response.

You are fine ... you don't need to really mention that. Any tickets less than 400, they do not even care unless you have bunch of them. You were asked to take the class and it was way in the past... even your Motor Vechile doesn't have anythhing againt you so you are fine.

I believe you don't need to attach original copies infact you can apply 4506-T to get Transcrips of Tax Return from IRS (you can call them to get the transcripts too which I believe is faster)... Why do you need to attach that now anyway?

There is no harm in putting A# in all the documents.

Thanks GhantaBro for answering all my questions. I did go the local IRS field office about 2 weeks ago and obtained the IRS tax return transcripts for the last 3 years (2005-2007). I have everything I need for the package...except, tomorrow in the morning I need to make copy of my Green Card front and back, make money order, and take photos (first 3 in the list!). Although, I am surprise they are not asking copies of my current passport, driving license, or Birth Certificate. Any way...I guess I am ready to go tomorrow. Thanks for your help.
