I read that during Natiralization interview an IO is checking also your A-File. Does anyone know what information this A-File contains?

It's the Alien file. It has everything about the person relating to immigration. Mine was so thick, with lots of stickers on it like it traveled a lot. It even had a letter that I wrote when I was loosing my mind waiting, it was the letter with pretty please I want an interview with smiley faces lol

I came to USA in 1999 with refugee status, that i got in third country, and i got a GC here in USA in 2 years. So, the copies for my refugee case from third country will also appear in Alien file? Or just all documents that have been submitted in USA ( green card application, biometric form, refugee travel document). There is nothing that i am really worrying about, but i just curious to know when they start tracking aliens.

I don't know My IO showed me my file and pointed to the first paper. I came here on a student visa. So he pointed out to my old F-1 student visas

I no longer believe in immigration lawyers, but have you consulted for legal advice on your case?

If you would like to see the contents of your immigration file, you can file a FOIA request.

Do you know by any chance how long does it take to receive this file and can i file for it online??

No, you cant file online. You need to fill out the form and mail it. I dont remember how long it took me to get my copy (they lost my file so it was years....)
