I joined a consulting company A by invoking AC21 on May 02, 2005 and started working for their one of the Clients. Since the Client does not have enough funds for my Project, it is going to be ended by July 15, 2005.
Now I got another offer from Company B and again wish to invoke AC21 and want to start from July 18, 2005. That is fine with my present Employer Company A. I have some expenses (moving ~ $3000) due with my Employer A and they are ready to reimburse it but they are saying in order to reimburse it and at the same time staying under the Rules and Regulations of the Company, they need to release me.
I tried to submit my resignation with my Employer A but they insist me to accept their release letter instead, as their point is in that way they will only be able to reimburse my moving expenses. If I quit then per the company policy I have to forfeit the reimbursement of the moving expenses as I have not completed one year of employment with Employer A.
My question is that if it is okay to accept their release letter and that does not have any adverse effect at my pending AOS.
I have not notified the Service Center about my invoking AC21 (for Employer A) yet, can I go ahead and let them know about my invoking AC21 for Employer B or I need to let them know about both Company A and B?
Thanks in advance
