A#(Alien Registration #)

Where can I find my Alien Registration # which is required to write on the back of the photos for I485? My I140 has not been approved yet.

I got mine off the I140 approval letter. As far as I know it's the only way to get that number. I hope someone has a better answer for you than me though.
 
AFAI remember, the A# was given only in the 485 receipt -- I don't remember seeing it even in the 140 approval. I am quite sure.

OP: If you don't have A#, just write ur name - no big deal.

One more question, for the employment letter, I saw some sample putting:
"This letter is to confirm that XXXX will be employed with us on full time, permanent basis upon receiving approval of his permanent residence application. He will receive an annual salary of no less than XXX. "

I am with this employer for more than 3 years. Should I still put like they will employed me upon receiving approval of I485? I thought I should put like I have employed with this employer since XXX.

Anyone has any idea?

just say in the letter that "xxx is employed with us since xxx with salary etc. And xxx company intends to continue his employment after approval"
