99Aug. VSC approved, EAD expired , do I still need to renew EAD ?

Dear Friends,

I just heard that my 485 has been approved two days ago. I don\'t receive the approval notice yet.
Since my AD will expire today. In order to work, do I still need to renew the AD?(Without Approval notice,
I am not able to get the passport stamped). I spoken with a couple of attorney and got different answers.
Anyone have similar experience?

My detail:
 I485 ID/ND Aug. 1999;
 FL: June 2000
 ID: Aug. 1998, NEW&Eb1-OR

If EAD expired after approval date I don\'t see any problem. Can you post the EB category and country for the VSC tracker please!

You are considered permanent resident from the date of approval, since you are already a permanent resident. I guess it should not be a problem.
