EB2, PD Aug 98, 485 Oct 99, No RFE, No approval, waiting hopelessly
I am one of the unlucky one who is stuck somewhere in the system. If anyone else is out there in similar please register here. Please if you git RFE or not.

Still waiting, no approval.
Call two times, they ask me wait for atleast two month for
some news. Feeling hopeless.

KoolGray I was in the same boat as you are until recently. I sent an enquiry to VSC from congressman\'s office. VSC responded back saying that they will take another 3-6 months for processing.
But my I-485 was approved on Jun 21. I was totally surprised by this. May be you should contact your local congressman and ask his help.

My details: EB2 NIW India, PD 5/8/98, ND 10/5/99; FP 3/2/01; Approved 6/21/01.

Considering that People with ND=August 2000 have started getting approvals, if your ND is in 1999, especially AUG, Sept. WHY ON EARTH WOULD YOU NOT start calling CONGRESSPERSON/MAYOR/GEORGE BUSH etc. etc. ?!!!!!

Just checked avm at 5.30pm today,and am approved.

Details EB3 , RD/Nd oct 99, FP 2/28, rfed on 4/7 for employment letter and 2 paystubs, rfe recd by INS on 4/25, approved today 7/3.

Under review for more than 4 months and then put on hold for a month
Called IIO on June 26, she told me that my case is under review again from Jun 19th onwards and will take 4 to 6 weeks. She asked me to check back after 2 weeks.

Waiting (im)patiently.My prayers and best wishes to all of us.

Hello everyone,

My details are as follows

EB2 PD June 98
I485 RD Aug 99
       ND Sep 99
Company Name change case was on hold since mid Dec 2000.
Ammended 140 filed June 01 2001
RFE requested on June 26. Yet to be mailed out. AVM not updated.
Though EB2 and my PD was always current (never regressed)
from the day I filed 485 it never worked to my advantage
I got my FP letter in the last batch. FP done Aug 00
485 was first assigned to officer on Dec 2000 and he/she reviewed for 5 months before
putting it on hold. Never even bothered to send a rfe.
Case reassigned to officer on June 19 2001 and a week later he generated rfe

I am considering/investigating legal options against this officer or INS if possible
since he has caused me unneccessary pain and anxiety for no reason. I had never
been a big fan of legal proceedings before this but now I feel I have no choice.
BTW they do not know when they will be able to mail out the rfe they generated
