90 days or 550 days??? processing

Hi folks: I have a question regarding the receipt notice of N400 form.My letter is saying the processing date is in 90 days and one of my friend received his taday with the processing date of 550 days, is that gonna make any diffrence (both casses are with VSC).

Maybe they are applying the 18 month rule on his application. Mine says 365 days and I got my IL in exactly 5 months. It's just a timeframe they are giving which is always longer than the actual time it takes to process their application. Just to cover their @$$ if they do happen to take longer than usual. That's my two cents on the situation.
