Hi
I have a question. If someone apply within the 90 days before the 5 years requirement .. What happens if the interview date or oath is before you reach your 5 years date? I have read in other forums that the officer can reschedule the interview , or they can even denied the process.
Thanks

Interview will still take place but oath will not be scheduled until completing 5 years, or 3 years, as it was in my case.

The most common result in such a scenario is that the interview is completed, but the decision and oath are delayed until you complete the 5 years. But some people show up and are immediately told the interview is rescheduled, or receive a reschedule notice shortly before the interview date.

There was one case not too long ago where the interviewer said the applicant would be denied, but I don't think that person ever got a denial letter. I'm not sure what was the eventual outcome of the case.
