What is the point of posting?

I am trying to imagine myself working for BCIS. I come to work around 9AM. Still feeling sleepy. Decide to go get some coffee. Slowly stroll down to the coffee machine. Oh, there is Bob -- "Hey bob how are you this morning", Bob -- "Did you hear..."....
Oops time is 9:45AM. Go to cube. Go to yahoo or CNN or hotmail or whereever... All sites exhausted nothing more to read... Look at the watch time is 11:30AM... Time for Lunch... Go Logans and get a nice one pound steak. Come back around 1:30PM... Feeling sleepy... Go get some more coffee... come back to cube... see what the priorities are.... religious workers.... the file belongs to Subramaniam Rangarajan" ... spend about 45 minutes to get the name right... Look the watch... it's 4:45PM time to go home and take the girls to soccer practice and boys to baseball practice. Oh where there there is still a stack of I-140 and I-485... Well... I will get on it tomorrow morning....

Some where in the forum I read BCIS were approving October cases, not sure for which category it was

that's pathetic

The only category which moved forward is E13
which went from 5/02/2003 to 5/14/2003. Everything
else just stayed exactly, precisely, where it was.

I wonder why none of the other immigration sites
have picked up on this update, they are all still
showing the 8/15 numbers which were released
on 8/20.

Processing time...

Why the hell we have a separate thread for this processing time? when there is no meaning in processing time......

Ved,

Are you suggesting that all Service Centers or in specific VSC should stop posting the bimonthly processing time.

We all understand that the most of the time processing time do not correspondent to the actual processing time but at least it gives us some benchmark to work with.

Would love to know why you think having no bi-monthly posting is better than some benchmark timeframes which VSC provides.

:(
