8th year H1 extension

Hi,

I am currently in my 7th year of H1(6 months more for completion of 7 years). I am planning to change to a new employer with a labor substitution and I-140. Once I have the I-140 on my name and then I apply for H1 through this company will I get three year extension or 3 and half years? Also, what would be the fees for H1 (transfer + extension). Anyone please advise.

-------Labor substitution is being eliminated you can read the news in 2-4 days. if your I-140 with LC substitution is not submitted dont go for it.

Once I have the I-140 on my name and then I apply for H1 through this company will I get three year extension or 3 and half years?

I already submitted for substitution premium processing. I have also received a note from USCIS that the case will be solved in 15 days.

Please let me known what would be the fees for h1 transfer once I get 140.

Fee is going to be increased I dont know when your employer is going to file H1 transfer and you should ask the new company or new company lawyer. new company is supposed to pay the H1 transfer fees and they can contact the lawyer for update.
