8 year old speeding ticket

I have received a "Case file review notice" which says "You indicated in your application that you have been arrested. For these arrests and any other incidents bring originals of arrest records and court dispositions etc etc at your interview'

These are 2 citations not arrests so there are no arrest records. I got the "Minute order" from the court for the recent ticket which shows the case has been dismissed. The other one is an 8 year old speeding ticket for which court says records are not in the system. They can give me a "no records found" report if I submit a request.

My question is that are the following documents enough for the 8 year ticket:

1- "No records found" report from the court
2- I have a certificate from the Traffic School that I attended
3- I have a court document (signed and stamped) assignment to traffic school and completion of traffic school. It also has the docket number etc.
4- H-6 Report of my driving record from DMV (has no mention of the ticket)

Is there anything else I can obtain from the court/other sources? Should I hire an attorney to help?

Thanks in advance for you help

The documents you listed are more than enough for a 8 year old minor traffic citation. The IO may not even bother asking about the evidence during the interview since it falls outside statutory period.

Bobsymth,

How about from the "Onus is on you" angle?

I see you've been waiting for a loooong time... good luck mate!

The initial review sent that kind of yellow letter by book. Don't worry about it. If you can get court record, then go get it. If not, just explain to the IO it was just an ordinary traffic ticket. Most IOs are reasonable people

Booking procedure at the police sattion create an official arrest record, but here in the yellow letter "arrested" means "arrested, stopped, detained, cited , or tickted by police in person".

By providing the IO the documents, you have satisfied the onus for you to prove that the citation was taken care of.

I've already obtained my US citizenship back in 2008..although the wait was over 1 year to get it due to backlog at the time.
