Thank You NoJob

Thanks NoJob!

I did call FBI status for FP. They had recieved yesterday and sent them back to INS yesterday itself.

Looking forward for next steps.

Best regards,

Thanks LegalAlien99... well I guess it's.... Thanks LegalCitizen06 ;)

I'll setup an InfoPASS. Do you think it's too early for an InfoPass, or should I wait couple of months?

Hi buddy!

Thanks a lot. I would schedule the first InfoPass appointment in early October and schedule one at least once every month. You could also investigate what kind of information you need to file a WOM down the road. There will be an abundance of information in the lawsuit thread in this forum.

Best of luck!

You should definitely schedule one in your case given your timeline. In fact I just scheduled one for the 2nd week of October - it doesn't hurt whatsoever as I would like to gain as much information as possible about my case and my status and talking to an immigration officer directly would be much more reliable.

Based on what I find out during my upcoming infopass, I will decide whether to schedule another one for end of November to again get up to speed.

This dude must be crazy!

EO -- I understand that you are stressed, but you are creating issues when none exist. Why don't you chill a little and enjoy life since your case is progressing nicely?

I honestly think that the officers will be very surprised to see you when there is no issue.

Good luck!

Guys thanks for the reassurance. Honestly just reading a lot about what CAN go wrong has made me as proactive as possible. If that infopass won't be useful in telling me whether there I have a name check issue then it doesn't matter.

Far from that, just being proactive and overly precautious given the nightmares I've heard about name check thats all.

Good for you "eo23". You sound like a reasonable person but a little worried about the unknown. Things can be perfectly normal for you or they could go wrong. You will have deal with issues when they come. Taking medication before you get sick does not help either. Does it? So chill a little bit and enjoy life. Thank your lucky stars for living in free country.

No problem! I am glad they returned it the same day. Definitely keep me posted. When do you think you should receive the interview letter? Based on the Chicago DO timeline in this forum, the interview letter should come anytime between 4-7 weeks after the FP have been taken. Supposedly the DO in general are more efficient nowadays and will reach a national 6 month timeline as of October 1st.

Let me know when you should receive it based on the NYC timeline.
