Guys,

here is my scenario:

I just got 7th Year H1 approval today from NSC. (my current H1 expires next month). I also have EAD/AP now. My I-140 was approved earlier. I-485 has been pending for 15 months.

I am getting a job offer from Company B next month. I want to use AC-21 to switch to Company B. But also i want to continue to remain on H1B status - so

a) can i apply for H1-Transfer to transfer my 7th Year H1 to Company B using AC-21

OR

b) should i only use EAD to work for Company B after AC-21.

If Option a) is possible, how long does it take for H1-Transfer to come through?

------ YES you CAN trasfer H1 with B and once join them on H1, file the AC21
OR

b) should i only use EAD to work for Company B after AC-21.
------- I would join with H1 transfer ( one can use EAD that is not problem)

If Option a) is possible, how long does it take for H1-Transfer to come through?
--- depends on service center but you CAN join after you get H1 trasfer filing reciept from USCIS.
