7th year Job change before LC is approved

Folks
Situation:
1. 7th Year H1B applied in premium,awaiting approval
2. LC applied (EB 3, PD – 10/2004)
3. considering to change job location (based on self motivation no transfer).
4. position is 90% similar and is within state(CA), same pay structure.

Is this possible and if so what needs to be done from an H1B/GC paper point of view.

It sounds your LC is pending. You have not been in the I-485 train. It’s too early to talk about I-140 porting. File a new LC if changing a job or do not move.
 
Job change within the same company

I need help in understanding what paperwork needs to be done when you move comapanies under my kind of circumstances. I understand I-140 is a non issue at this time.
