As I mentioned earlier, my prev. employer's lawyer called NJ DOL but they told that they don't issue any receipt for LC's. (I for some reason believe the lawyer, may be someone in NJ DOL didn't know about it).
Now for the RFE my prev. lawyer (who filed the LC) has given an affidavit saying 1) the LC was sure filed on Jul 2001 and 2) We requested for Receipt and NJ DOL said no for it. Also we have sent the copy of the LC delivery confirmation with post office stamp date Jul 2001.
Do you think INS will accept this?
What to do if they deny and raise a RFE again insisting LC receipt. Can me,my current employer or current lawyer get it somehow from DOL? Any ideas!!!! (FYI, my prev employer is out of businees now).
