HI , I am working for company X and my 6 year H1 limit expires in Mar 2004. I have labor pending through Company Y.

Can I get 7 th year extension through my current Company X based on labor pending for more than 365 days by Future Employer Company Y.
or
Do I need to Switch and start working for company Y before my 6 year limit expires to get 7 th year extension.

Any Information Welcome ..
Thanks in Advance

------- Yes, you need the evidence that your LC was filed 365 days back, SESA receipt that has your name and PD will work ask your company Y or company Y lawyer to provide you the copy of SESA or SWA PD copy,
or

------ no need, if you wish you can do that

Thanks Ginnu !! .. but Unfortunately my Company Lawyer Said even though it my be possible to do so but as they intrepret law They Won't be able to File 7th Year extension based on LC pending from another Employer :(. So looks like only option is to switch to company Y and Apply extension through them

If your company lawyer doesn't accept that use some outside counsel.
