I had a few general questions:
1. I am on my 2nd H1B term and my H1B is going to expire in Feb 2006. I have filed for my labor certification in RIR and got my receipt notice on Nov 1st 2004. I have the receipt notice with me. If i understand it right, everyone needs to request the proof of labor from DOL if they intend to extend their H1B's to 7th year assuming that their labor has been pending for a year.
2.In my case, when should i request for Proof of Labor filing? Or will the receipt notice that i have suffice?
3.If i have to request Proof of Labor filing, Does it take a long time to get the proof of labor?.
4.When can i apply for my 7th year extension and is their any quota limitation for that ....if there is a quota limitation will i have to leave the country at the end of my term?
