7th year extension to H1B

My H1B is currently in its 6th year, and it will expire in July 2006.

I haven't applied for a GreenCard yet due to some reasons. My company is now doing the recruitment process prior to applying for PERM. The earliest they can apply for PERM is March'06.

Am I eligible to apply for a 7th year extension to my H1B?

Is there any way I can continue to keep my employment after July 2006?

Unfortunately, no.

You can keep employment if employer agreed, but you can not work in the US after 6 years H1 unless you are qualified to 7th year.
