a)trying to get 7th year extenstion and Did you get the extn approval? Yes or No

From Oct 2003 to Aug 2005, are you not in pay roll, out of status etc?

If answer to Q. A is No and B is Yes you need to worry of coming back to US after your home country visit.Should I have take any kind of proof that my greencard(labor) getting processed to the consulate because it is a 7th year extension.

Hi Great Guru,

Thanks for your quick response and I really appreciate it.

As I have got a chennai consulate appt in Aug,

Question :
I have started worrying now whether I will have any kind of rejections because of the following?

a)trying to get 7th year extenstion and Did you get the extn approval? Yes or No?
Yes

b)old visa stamped on my passport got expired on oct 2003.
From Oct 2003 to Aug 2005, are you not in pay roll, out of status etc?
I Have been on payroll and though I have changed to 2 companies after that, I have got a valid green I-94.

If answer to Q. A is No and B is Yes you need to worry of coming back to US after your home country visit.

Question :
Should I have take any kind of proof that my greencard(labor) getting processed to the consulate because it is a 7th year extension.

Do I have any problems with the expired I-94 while travelling back to india. For eg, If I take cathy, it might halt in HongKong and Singapore for few hours. Do I have to take any visas for that country for that halts?

I really appreciate if somebody can help me on this as I am so much worried now. Help is greately appreciated.

Thanks GreatGuru.

You already got your 7th yr extn based on the proof your LC is in progress. Consulate is not keen on it, but you must take your W2 all years, pay stubs, tax returns as back up. If consulate suspicious about your company they issue 221g , it may delay your return to US by 6 months. Take some photos of your company, work place to prove your company is genuine one. (They may not ask for eveything, but we do not know when our bad luck start. If it Chennai, you should be triple careful).

-- I am going to chennai and also. Since I am working as a consultant at the client.
Do I need to take photos for both my h1 holder company as well as the client?
All of my old w2s are already filed for tax returns. How will I have w2's?
