7th year extension question?

My company lost my LC, which was approved 2 year back.

I got my I140 approved and filed for I485 almost one year.

My 6th year H1B is expiring in Jan'04, WHat are the documents that are required for Filing 7th year extension.

ANY one recently filed for 7th year extension, please provide details of documents required.

Actually my company HR filed my I140 (no attorney).

Previous HR filed for I140 and the current HR planning to file 7th year H1 extension and He(new HR) could not able to find LC in my I140 file and even in any of my other files.

please advice, what should I do to get a copy of LC? Even my company new HR will help in doing any thing.

Better to get duplicate from DOL or INS(from I140 file)?

PLEASE advice friends.

---- It means that Previous HR filed the I-140 with LC and did not keep copy of LC. He was supposed to keep the copy of I-140 form and LC in your employer office with HR. You don’t need the LC copy to file for 7th year extension just file with I-485 receipt. I don’t know why you are after copy of LC?

------------ I hope you are trying to get the copy of LC because you may be changing employer in future and want to use AC21 in future and need to know what was on LC(skill set). If that is the reason you should write honestly that you need LC copy for AC21 in future and not just for 7th year H1 extension
Better to get duplicate from DOL or INS(from I140 file)?
----- Employer or you can get the copy of LC from service center under FOIA they should provide the copy of approved I-140 or copy of I-140 filing receipt so that USCIS officer can track the file, better send I-485 filing receipt copy also with request and write your A #( it is on I-485 filing receipt) complete name as it papers on I-140 or I-485 fling receipts. It may take time to get LC copy. You should file 7th year H1 with I-485 pending receipt

To be frank, I am not thinking of changing employer. I am very much worried for not seeing my LC in my file. If we(company) need for any thing in future, then where should we get it.

I will ask my new HR to get a copy from USCIS or DOL.

One more question, could you tell me what are the documents that are required to send for 7th year extension?

Like need new LCA, Forms, I94's? could you list all
