7th year extension/evidence, EAD

Hi Friends, could you help me on this.

1st question:

I am working for company X. company Y applied labor(a year before of my 6year term) as future employee. labor is still pending.

same company Y applied 140/485/EAD/AP (about 7 months before expiring 6th year) on substitute labor. I140 still pending.

my question is which evidence I need to show to get 7th year extension. Labor or I140?

2nd question:
my wife got EAD after three weeks of notice date. but I have not received yet. I am the primary applicant. notice date is 10/01/04 and processing date is showing 11/15/2004. can I contact local INS office to get EAD?

---File your 7th year extension based on Labor (since it is already pending > 365 days).

---You can go to a local office and ask for iEAD only after 90 days have crossed on your EAD filing.

7th year extension based on pre-approved labor

Hi All,
I have applied for I140, 485 on Nov12th,2004 based on pre-approved labor. Is it possible to apply for a 7th year extension (my visa expires 03/2005).

I am sure it is not possible 7th year extension if pending is < 365 days. I think you can start work on EAD.
