Hi All

I am in a difficult situation. My 6th year limit is coming up within a few months and i just applied for my LC thru my current employer. My question is can I apply for a 7th year extension based on my approved LC from my previous employer, which was applied about 1.5 years back and the employer closed shop after the labour getting approved. If its possible what all documents do I need or please point me to any realted info on web.

thanks in advance

Well you need to prove that you are still employed with the sponsoring employer of that LC. Since you have filed a new LC with the new employer you have sealed your own fate.

Thanks Jaxen. I didn't have much choice since my original employer closed down. My only option right now is to try the 7th year petition this way.

The above article clearly states that its possible. I'd really love to hear from some one who already tried it.

thanks

Re: Not trying to pour water ...

Well I'm trying to find a loophole.. :) The article does not say anything about the original LC being active at that time. Anyways do you have any suggestions for me

thanks
