7th Year Extension and travel to india

My 6 year term is finishing on 4th Aug 2005 and lawyer is in process to apply for my 7th year extension but waiting on NJDOL letter confirming with receipt number for my Alien Labor Certificate. Since all NJ labor cases are getting trasferred to backlog processing center, I am not sure when we will get confirmation letter from NJDOL. Same time, I have to travel to India for company work in July and expected to return on 1st Aug. Is it safe to travel in this situation? And what are my options if NJDOL could send confirmation letter in time.

------ lawyer need to write or call Trenton SWA office they have record of your LC filing and will send a reciept

---- you should be babk BEFORE the Visa expires and keep the 7th year H1 transfer filing reciept that you or your employer/lawyer will get from USCIS( show ONLY if asked by POE officer becase he may question that your H1 expires on 4th Aug 2005 and you plan to enter on 1st Aug)

*** if you get your H1 approved BEFORE you go out then show your passport visa AND new H1 approval notice at POE and you will get I-94 till your 7th year H1 extension, check the date on I-94 if any mistake point out to POE officer or ask for supervisor
And what are my options if NJDOL could send confirmation letter in time.
--- ask the lawyer to be after NJ SWA
