Labor filed in Non-RIR in CA: Feb'04 through Company A
Labor filed in RIR in CA: Dec'03 through Company B

Currently working for Company A

6th Year expires :Mar '05

So we can file 7th year extension based on pending labor petettion from company A.
Now if the company A lays off in middle of th year say Dec '05. Can I apply for another H1 through Company based on labor petettion from Company B

to be precise:
Can 7th year and 8th year extensions be on different companies ?

Thanks for your help.
