7th Year ext for Spouse

I am completing my 6 years H-1 term in 2005 and i will be able to file for my 7 th year ext since my GC is pending for more than 2 years. My wife also works in H-1 and her 6 year H-1 term also ends at the same time in 2005. Will she be able to extend her H-1 based on my pending GC? She has not filed her GC from her company.
What will happen to her after her 6 years in H-1? Does she have to go back to H-4 or can continue to work by extending her H-1 also to one more year.

Has anyone encountered this situation?

---- She can be on H4 but her H1 will not be extended based on your 7th year H1 extension, if she has filed derivative I-485 based on your I-140 she can get EAD and work on EAD
