7th year approved

I got my 7th year approved , i was surprised with the process , it just took 40 days, my last H1b took like 4 months to get approved.

Guru's i have a question please help on this.

My wife is planning to travel back to india , she came last on h14 in 2001, and has not travel since then, the first h4 stamp has expired. Now my 7th year is valid till jan 2007. Can she get h4 visa extension on this.

Does it cause problems if you mention on visa form that labor has been filed on the behalf of the applicant, i mean its obvious 7th year is possible only if labor is filed.

Please share the experiences if some has applied for visa after 7th year extension, and what documents will be needed at the consulate.

Did you apply her H4 extn along with your H1 extn? IF not what is her H4 validity date and her last I 94 validity date. Post reply urgently.

yes i applied along with my H1b, her i-94 is valid also till jan 2007.
I mean when she goes to the consulate , they may refudse based om immigration intent, because obviously 7th extension is based on labor filed and pending. Has anyone got visa stamped after 7th year extension.

H1 / H4 will not be refused based on Immigrant intendent, because these visa bears dual intention. Immigration and non-immigration. Visa can be rejected several other reasons too.

If you are not confident about your home country US embassy, better stay here until you get your GC.(No need of visa stamp in the pp)
