I filed my 751 application in July TSC, got transferred to CSC. my biometrics done on Sept 22,2007. they touched my application couple of times after that. Look below
07/24/07 - I-751 application package sent
07/27/07 - delivered by USPS (Online Tracking)
08/21/07 - NOA 1 received - Extension letter
09/04/07 - NOA 2 ASC Appointment Notice received for biometrics on 10/02/07
9/22/2007 - Did walk in biometrics since i will be out of state on a buinsess trip that week.
9/24/2007 - touched
9/25/2007 - touched
Current Status: Case received and pending.

I have been checking status 4/5 times a day since then. waiting for something in online, e-mail or mail as i saw lot of aug filers approved before me. Anyone with the similar time frame have any update. What exactly they do after biometrics that takes that long to make a decision. Should i be worried.

If your marriage is bonafide, you have nothing to worry. A pending I-751 should be the least of one's worries. It is perhaps the only petition that can be forced by the applicant to be adjudicated by USCIS due to the presence of another petition, i.e an N-400.

I have been doing contract work and i love it as i can take time off when i want to. when they see it's expiring soon they kinda get concerned. i do have 1 year extension, which most people are unfamiliar with other than USCIS.

I have reading posts on this forum since i didn't get any receipt notice almost a month. didnt' take me that long for I-130, I-485 to get a notice back in 2005. people got approved like that in first 2 weeks of september and their application was received after mine.

If anyone can post the time line taking biometrics close to mine and the current status that would be great.

I had to go to bed early last night to catch up with my sleep. Due to my recent business trips I wasn't able to get enough sleep. I woke up early this morning and when I checked my email I have a good news to share with this forum. I received an email saying Card production ordered. Hopefully I'll get my approval and the new card soon.

Hi,,,Biometrics help

Congratulations OP !! I wish USCIS could practically decide as painlessly for each valid case as they did for you.

You've mentioned in your posts that you did a early walk in for your biometrics on 9/22/07 than the scheduled date of 10/2/07 in your NOA-2.

Please let me know that if you'd made any re/early scheduling of your appointment as mentioned on the NOA-2?

I'm living in MD temporarily & have mailing address of a relative in NYC. My appointment is on 11/06 (tuesday). I was wondering that if I could also try early walk in without rescheduling on Fri or Sat.

I'll try to call & ask someone at the ASC if I could simply do a walk-in, but I'll appreciate if you could confirm to me that you didn't reschedule.

Thanks in advance....

touched ???

Also, can anyone explain what "touched" means as in the original post for dates 9/24 & 9/25 ??

Is it related to the online USCIS account activity?

Another question:
The NOA-1 which extended the validity of GC by 1 year had a EAC #. But if I try to search on it in the Case status online, there are no results.
The NOA-2 (biometrics) EAC # yields a CRI89 record in the USCIS account portfolio. Will all activity on my case be based on EAC# of NOA-2 ?? Thanks !!!
