7 th Year Extension of H1

I filed a Labor certification thru 'Company A' in Jan 2003 , it got cleared in 'State' level and it is waiting for 'Federal' approval. Mean time 'Company A' merged with 'Company B' and my H1 got transefered to 'Company B'.
But, the Company 'A' is still existing as an individual entity, only the employees got transfered to Company 'B'.

--If 'Company B' applies for 7 th year extension, is it valid ?
-- Does the labor certification process continues with Company B? or it hampers the entire Green card process?

Labor certification process continues with Company B if the company B does not withdraw the LC, once LC is approved B can file I-140 and you can file I-485, EAD, AP with I-140. try to be on H1 status till your I-140 gets approved
