7/30/01 approved. what is welcome notice? do they get stamping?

q: i heard on avm that my kid got welcome notice. what is that? do they get staming at local ins office? any one experienced before please answer.

To your question-

My understanding is that kids ( < 14 years old?) don't need passport stamping - they'll get actual GC with the welcome letters.
