Hello Folks,

I got to see the Magic Emails ; my case is approved.

I485- RD:- 7/29/03
Fp1:- 9/28/04
EAD2:- Still pending..
Ap2:-10/20/04

However, my kid's case has not been approved, or no email to this effect.
Any idea how long would that it to approve the kids cases?

ALSO, what's the next step now?

Thanks Much for all the views in here, it feels good to see all types of developments with each individual case, and would perhaps get a strong feeling about one's own case...based upon the views and thoughts put in collectively or individually:)

Congrats!!!! Gosh one more approval for the same RD as mine, really keeping my fingers crossed :confused:

Did your kid's case is approve yet?

Normally how long it will take to get kids case to be approved?

But I heard, Normally there will not be any approval letter for kid and automatically card will be processed when parents go for PP stamping. Is this correct?

Kids will be approved and mailed to you automatically. Don't worry about that. Enjoy the moment.

did you SEE change in LUD/ online mesg after you gave your 1st FP? I did my 1st FP on 9/25 and i have not seen any change in online mesg/LUD

Congratulations. NOW the next step is getting your PP stamped. You can get your kid's PP stamped later when that gets approved. Kid's approval should not have an issue

My kid's Status changed as of 11/1 stating that after approving your case, a card has been ordered, and will be mailed as soon as it is ready.
So, they have technically approved teh case.

I am not sure, if I would still need to get the kid's passport too stamped...anyone can advise?

Yes the LUD changed , I did my FP as of 9/28, and the LUD first changed around 10/15, and than on 10/28 it changed and it got approved on 10/28 itself, so, I had in all 2 LUD changes, the 2nd one being the approval..
