6yrs on H4 then F1, can I get H1?

Hi,
I am on H4 visa, completing 6yrs of stay in april 2007. If I change my visa status to F1 after completing my course, will I be able to get H1 for another 6yrs?

H4 (6yrs exhausted) -- F1 -- You can not get H1.
To get H1 for 6yrs go to your home county stay one year and apply H1 under quota.
