6th year of H1B - changing company...

Hi,
My 6 years of H1B expires on 15Jan, 2005.
My labor application for GC has been applied through company A more than a year back.
I've been offered a job by company B, which I would like to take.
1. What should I tell company B that they could do, to keep me here beyond the 6th year ( i.e. Jan, 2005 ) ? Company B is in MD and my GC could most probably be applied in EB1 ( the regular one for bachelor degree holders , I've over 8 years of experience).
2. What do you think I should do ?

Thanks very much for your help.

---- File the H1 transfer and join when you get H1 transfer filing receipt, request them to file your LC under RIR ASAP

--------------- EB1? EB1 is for extraordinary ability do you have any awards? Any publications? You are well known? Covered by the newspapers? Have you published any research papers? Did you do any significant research? Can you document or give the evidence to USCIS that you have extraordinary ability? What is your extraordinary ability field science, Arts? Document it. Having 8-year exp will not make you eligible for EB1
