6 years of H4 ending new H1

Hi,

I came to the United States in June 2000 on an H1.
Converted to H4 in 2003. 6 years are expiring in June 2006
My husbands LC has been applied last year so will be applying for 7th year extension.
I cannot get an H1 as my LC was not applied one year prior.
Is there any other work permit i can apply for like H2 or student visa?
If i go bak to india for a year and come back the next year on an h4 on my husbands visa can i apply for a fresh H1 after coming back to united states or i have to enter united states with an h1b .
Can i get a h1b for part time work too?
what are the salary requirements for that?

You can change to F1 student visa, you may get some part time job in the compus.
