I am a student studying outside US for the last 2.5 years. Just applied for citizenship. All the 6 trips are < 6 months, total 805 days so far, but still used the reentry permit at port of entry. 30 months in the last 5 years stay in US is also completed. Is there going to be a problem with my N-400? Do I need to take care of anything else. After finger prints, I am going out of US again to continue my studies. Please help if you guys have any information.

If you can demonstrate strong ties to the US (e.g. immediate family members, mortgage/lease agreements, etc), USCIS may look favorably on your application.
Recent reports from students in similar positions seem to be mostly positive, although there have been problems with people whose spouse moved overseas with them while studying abroad.
At the end of the day, since you never exceeded the 180 day cutoff, its really going to depend a lot on the mood of the IO.

Thanks for the response. I am 20 years old and live with my parents in US. My parents also applied for Citizenship a week before me. May be I sholuld go with all their documentation for the interview.
Also I like to know fom the experts if I need to do anything to preserve my green card in case my N-400 got denied.

Presumably your parents remained in the US while you were studying abroad? That being the case, I think you stand an excellent chance of getting through the process without a hitch.
Even if you were denied or asked to withdraw your petition because of broken residency, your GC would not be at risk unless there were other factors such as evidence that you obtained your residency fraudulently. Most denials are non-permanent (i.e. without prejudice) and you are free to apply again as soon as you are eligible.

One more question on re-entry permit
My re-entry permit expired and the officer at port of entry took it saying you need to apply again. Now I am waiting for my finger prints and then I will go out of US for my studies and come back in 2 to 3 months for my interview. Do I need to apply for a re=entry permit again? Is it required at interview because I have so many trips of 4 to 5 months?

Theoretically you wouldn't need a new reentry permit as you plan to return within 2-3 months, however plans change and people get stuck in namecheck, so you may want to get one just to be safe.
Hopefully you have immediate family remaining behind in the US? If so, that strengthens your case considerably (see comments above).
