I just realized that my daughter's passport expires on Jan 7, 2014 and we are leaving for Manila on Tuesday, July 23rd. I tried getting an onsite passport but the net available appointment is on July 24th which is a day late. Would she have any problems getting in and leaving the Philippines? I saw the list of countries that extend passport validity and Philippines is on the list. Does that mean her passport will be considered for another 6 months and should be able to leave on Tuesday?
